Website FAQs aside, it was called to my attention that Banfield Pet Hospital locations are locally owned and operated. Therefore the decision to vaccinate or not is at the discretion of the pet owner and attending veterinarian (subject to local laws.)
I'm afraid I painted with too broad a brush. I stand corrected on that point.
At the bottom line, dog and cat caretakers are advised to read pet food labels, research treatments and drug side effects, get the facts and don't be afraid to say "no, thank you" if your veterinarian advises you to accept a procedure, drug or diet which you don't want for your pet. There are ethical and caring veterinarians out there.
