Update: CA Removes Quarantine Language from AB2000

Big sigh of relief. Concerned Dog Owners of California (CDOC) reports that state legislators will remove completely the language covering quarantine in AB2000 granting anti-rabies medical exemption for companion animals judged at risk of adverse reaction or death by a licensed veterinarian.

Assembly Member Hagman has contacted various clubs and individuals to see that he and his staff have satisfied reasonable concerns. Now that they have totally dropped the objectionable language, California dog owners are encouraged to support this bill.
